Question 1

What is Astra and how does it help me study?

Accepted Answer

Astra AI is an AI study companion that turns your notes, slides and past papers into a personalized study plan, with lessons, quizzes, flashcards, podcasts and mock exams built from your own material.

Question 2

How is it different from ChatGPT?

Accepted Answer

ChatGPT answers questions. Astra teaches: it knows your materials, tracks what you've mastered, plans your study sessions and never moves on until you understand.

Question 3

Does Astra teach from my own materials, or random content from the internet?

Accepted Answer

From your materials. Upload your notes, textbooks or slides and every lesson, quiz and exam is built from exactly what you'll be tested on.

Question 4

Is it free to start, and what does it cost?

Accepted Answer

You can start free, no card required. Premium unlocks unlimited tutoring, mock exams and podcasts for less per month than a single hour of private tutoring.

Question 5

Does it just give answers, or actually help me understand?

Accepted Answer

It tutors step by step, asks you questions back and checks your understanding. The answer is the last thing you get, not the first.

Question 6

Who is Astra for: middle school, high school or university?

Accepted Answer

All three. Astra adapts its explanations and difficulty to your level, from middle school all the way through university and professional exams.

Question 7

Which subjects and exams does it cover? Does one subscription cover them all?

Accepted Answer

All major subjects: maths, sciences, languages, humanities, law and more. One subscription covers every subject and exam you add.

Question 8

Does it adapt to my level and pace?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Astra continuously measures what you know, speeds up where you're strong and slows down where you struggle.

Question 9

Can Astra AI replace a private tutor?

Accepted Answer

For most students, yes. It's available 24/7, infinitely patient and always prepared.

Question 10

How is it different from Photomath?

Accepted Answer

Photomath solves a photographed problem. Astra uses that problem to teach you the method, so you can solve the next one yourself in the exam.

Question 11

How does the “+2 grades or your money back” guarantee work?

Accepted Answer

Study consistently with your plan, and if your grade doesn't improve by at least two grades, we refund you in full. No forms, no fine print.

Question 12

Is my data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your materials and conversations are private, never sold and never used to train ads. You can delete everything at any time.

Question 13

What is Astra AI and how can it help my child?

Accepted Answer

Astra is a personal AI tutor that builds a study plan from your child's own school materials, teaches step by step and keeps you informed with weekly progress reports.

Question 14

Who is Astra AI suitable for?

Accepted Answer

Any learner preparing for school, exams or university, whether they're catching up, keeping up or aiming for top grades.

Question 15

Is Astra AI suitable for all age groups?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from middle school through university. Astra adjusts its tone, depth and difficulty to the learner's age and level.

Question 16

Can Astra AI adapt to my child's learning speed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It measures understanding continuously, repeats what hasn't landed yet and accelerates through what your child already knows.

Question 17

Does Astra AI only provide solutions, or does it actually improve my child's understanding?

Accepted Answer

It never just hands over solutions. Astra teaches the method, asks questions back and only moves on once your child genuinely understands.

Question 18

How does Astra AI ensure the security and privacy of my child's data?

Accepted Answer

There are no ads, data is never sold, and study conversations stay between your child and their tutor. Everything can be deleted at any time.

Question 19

Can Astra AI replace a teacher or tutor?

Accepted Answer

It replaces the expensive hourly tutor for most families, available 24/7 at a fraction of the cost. It supports teachers rather than replacing them.

Question 20

Can I use Astra with my class in the classroom?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create shared study sets, quizzes and mock exams from your own materials, and follow class-wide progress from one place.

Question 21

Do you offer school or classroom plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Astra is free for individual teachers, and school licenses with admin tools and class management are available.

Question 22

Can I create and share learning apps or materials with my students?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Build interactive lessons, quizzes and flashcard sets from your syllabus and share them with your class in one click.

Question 23

Does Astra replace teachers, or support them?

Accepted Answer

Support, always. Astra handles repetition and individual practice so you can spend class time on what only a teacher can do.
