Agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Astra AI about your use of astraai.lol and the Astra AI apps. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

The service

Astra AI is an AI study assistant. It explains topics, answers your questions, and builds flashcards, quizzes, study plans and mock exams from the material you provide, then tracks what you have mastered.

Explanations, plans and practice are generated automatically, so they can be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as a study aid: check anything important against your syllabus, textbook or teacher, and never rely on Astra AI as your only source for an exam.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account, and you are responsible for what happens through your Astra AI account:

• Keep access to your Google account secure. Anyone who can use it can use your Astra AI account.
• One account per person. Do not share your login or resell access.
• Tell us at support@astraai.lol if you believe someone else has used your account.

Subscriptions and billing

Astra AI is a paid subscription, sold monthly or annually:

• The price, the billing period and what a plan includes are shown on the pricing page before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings, Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
• If we change the price of your plan, we tell you before the change takes effect, and you can cancel first.

Refunds and the grade promise

We advertise that students improve by two grades, or their money back. To claim, write to support@astraai.lol with your exam result and the plan you completed; we refund through the payment provider you used.

This promise is in addition to any refund right you may have under the law of the country you live in.

Acceptable use

Astra AI is for studying. You agree not to:

• Use it to cheat: no using it during a closed exam, and no handing in generated work as your own where your school or university forbids it.
• Upload material you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful, harmful, or someone else's confidential information.
• Scrape, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the service, or use it in a way that degrades it for other students.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Academic integrity

Astra AI is a learning aid, not a ghostwriter. You are responsible for following the rules of your school, university or exam board, including any rule about AI tools, and for the work you submit as your own.

Your material and your content

The notes, slides, PDFs and photos you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them for one purpose: running the service for you, for example turning your notes into practice. You confirm that you have the right to upload everything you add.

Our content

The Astra AI apps, brand, design, text and lesson formats belong to us and our licensors. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them commercially.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Astra AI available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features and study formats change over time. If we discontinue something a paid plan depends on, we tell you in advance and you can cancel before your next renewal.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost marks, lost opportunities or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Termination

You can stop using Astra AI at any time, and cancel your subscription in Settings, Billing. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will explain why.
